Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held talks with US Secretary of State John Kerry on the sidelines of the 2015 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons ((NPT), currently being held in New York.

They discussed ways to boost bilateral ties in the political, economic and trade fields, the spokesman for the foreign ministry said.

They discussed the latest developments in the region, Spokesman Badr Abdel Aatti said.
