Iran’s Supreme National Security Council head Ali Shamkhani and Alexander Lavrentiev, Russia’s Special Envoy to Syria, will meet in Tehran on Saturday afternoon, Mehr news agency reported.

The meeting is expected to discuss stances taken by the governments involved in the Syrian crisis and the ceasefire agreement as well as the latest developments in the fight against terrorist groups.
