Saudi Crown Prince, King of Jordan review latest developments in region

HRH Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense met here today with visiting King Abdullah II of Jordan.

They disused latest developments in the region, including the US decision to recognise Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Israel and to relocate US embassy to the city and the serious and passive fallouts of the decision, which considered as a huge setback for endeavors exerted to drive the peace process forward, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

They also emphasised the historically well-established rights of the Palestinian people, in Al-Quds and other occupied territories, guaranteed by relevant international resolutions.

The two sides reviewed bilateral relations in addition to the promising opportunities for development, in all aspects, including the joint efforts to combat terrorism.
