H.H. the Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, has met with UN Secretary-General's Humanitarian Envoy, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Muraikhi.

According to the Qatar News Agency, QNA, Dr. Al Muraikhi briefed the Qatari Emir on the results of his recent field visit to Syrian refugee camps in neighbouring countries and future plans to support humanitarian work in areas of famine, conflict, and humanitarian disasters.

The meeting also reviewed cooperation ties between Qatar and the organisation in different humanitarian fields.
