President Abdel Fattah El Sisi phoned Kuwaiti Emir Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to discuss a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
President Sisi praised efforts exerted by the Kuwaiti Emir in favor Arab and Islamic nations.
Egypt is keen on the security and stability of Kuwait, Sisi said.
For his part, Sheikh Sabah said that his country will continue supporting Egypt to overcome this transitional period.
The march of unity and solidarity with Egypt will not be affected by any bid to undermine it, he said.
Such fake plots will only result in enhancing cooperation with Egypt in all fields, he added.
