President of Brazil receives credentials of UAE envoy

Michel Temer, President of the Federal Republic of Brazil, has received the credentials from Hafsa Abdulla Mohamed Sharif Al Ulama, the UAE Ambassador to Brazil.

The ceremony was attended by Jose Serra, Brazil's Minister of Foreign Affairs, members of the diplomatic corps, as well as government and military officials.

The UAE envoy conveyed the regards of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces to the President of Brazil.

The UAE leaders emphasised the strong friendship and co-operation between the leaders of the two countries and peoples, as well as the desire of both sides to strengthen these relations and advance them in various fields.

The President of Brazil asked the UAE ambassador to convey his greetings to the UAE President, Vice President and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, wishing them well, and further progress, prosperity and happiness to the UAE.

He also wished success to the UAE envoy in her diplomatic task in Brazil.
