Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs Riyad al Malki met on Thursday with Brazilian Parliament Speaker Eduardo Cunha and his accompanying delegation.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Malki voiced the Palestinian leadership's appreciation for the government and people of Brazil for supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinians.

He hailed the historical relations between the two countries.
