Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia received on Thursday in Algiers Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell, on a working visit to Algeria, a statement from the Prime Minister's office said.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Abdelkader Messahel.

The Spanish minister’s visit to Algeria is part of the continuation and deepening of the political dialogue and consultation between the two countries. It follows the 7th High Level Meeting which took place held in Algiers on April 3, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
