Cairo - MENA
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Tuesday received Chairman of Egypt's National Council of Human Rights (NCHR) Mohamed Fayek.
Fayek handed the prime minister a report on the human rights situation in Egypt, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of establishing the NCHR.
The report contains recommendations on the civil and political rights, positive aspects that have been made in several areas, and some other drawbacks suggested to be avoided, Fayek said.
Mahlab said the government would pay attention to the report.
