Kuwait Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Khoder met her today with Chief of Staff of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) General Werner Freers. 
During the meeting, they discussed military cooperation, including Kuwait's participation in upcoming military drills. 
According to the statement carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Khoder hailed the role played by North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to protect international peace and security, adding that the NATO was an important part of liberating Kuwait from the Iraqi occupation in 1991.
