Minister of Economy and Trade, Raed Khoury, left for the United States to participate in the World Bank and IMF meetings between October 11 and 15.
Minister Khoury will hold meetings in Washington to discuss the progress achieved through preparing a Budget for the State to control public funds, and begin working on the completion of a new economic plan adopted by the government unanimously.
He will also tackle the repercussions of the Syrian displacement on Lebanon's economy before the international community, and will discuss means for Lebanon to obtain international aid and subsidized loans.
