Jordan's FM Nasser Judeh

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Nasser Judeh, met with Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz and discussed with him Jordanian-Austrian relations and ways of enhancing them in various fields.

The meeting, which came on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, touched on the latest developments in the Middle East, mainly efforts to combat terrorism and extremism.

They also stressed the importance of re-launching serious and effective negotiations between the Palestinian and Israeli sides to establish peace and bring about the two-state solution.

In another meeting, Judeh discussed with China’s special envoy to the Middle East, Ambassador Gong Xiaosheng, a number of Middle East issues, including Yemen, Libya, Iraq and, Syria.

The two sides discussed the war on terrorism and efforts to establish peace in the region.

The minister also met with the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya Bernardino Leon, and discussed with him the latest developments in the north African Arab nation.
