Iraq's Vice President Ossama al Nujayfi called on Saturday for promoting cooperation with Turkey particularly in the military field.

The VP met Turkey's Ambassador in Baghdad Faruk Kaymakcı.

They discussed ways to boost bilateral relations as well as the security and political situation in Iraq.
