Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram discussed with Australian Ambassador to Egypt Neil Hawkins issues of mutual concern and ways to boost bilateral relations.
In a statement on Thursday, Makram appreciated the attention paid by the Australian side to activate bilateral cooperation, saying Egyptian expatriates serve as a bridge linking the two countries.
For his part, Hawkins said he is looking forward to organizing a fair on Pharaonic, Coptic and Islamic monuments in Australia, hoping for more bilateral cooperation.
