Egypt, Greece, Cyprus: Partnership amid economic political difficulties

Newly-appointed Greek Ambassador in Cairo Michael Diamessis asserted the deep-rooted relations between Greece and Egypt, saying they represent an important axis in relations between Egypt, Greece and Cyprus.

This came during Diamessis' meeting with Alexandria Governor Reda Farahat to discuss fostering mutual ties.

The Greek consul-general in Alexandria also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the ambassador said an important meeting will be held in October 11 to discuss important issues including tourism, cultivating olive trees and fisheries as well as exchanging tourism and cultural expertise.
