Kataeb party leader, MP Sami Gemayel, on Tuesday continued his visit to the French capital, Paris, where he met with President of the National Assembly Francois de Rugy.

During the meeting, Gemayel maintained that real stability required democracy and sovereignty, warning of the political authority's attempts to tamper with public freedoms.

Moreover, the pair highlighted the necessity to abide by the constitutional due dates, especially regarding the legislative elections.

For his part, de Rugy stressed on the obligation to implement all UN resolutions relevant to Lebanon, confirming France's constant support for Lebanon
