GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdul Aziz Mohamed Al-Oweishiq met here today with Switzerland's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Yves Rossier.
During the meeting they discussed relations of cooperation between the GCC and the Swiss Confederation and means of enhancing them and reviewed regional and international developments in addition to political issues of mutual concern.
The GCC and the Swiss Confederation are bound by a Free Trade Agreement that will go into effect this year. The agreement includes, besides the Swiss Confederation each of Norway, Island and Liechtenstein.
