H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, today received H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President and Chairman of the Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Humanitarian and Scientific Foundation, who paid a courtesy visit to H.H., at his palace in Al Rumaila.

Sheikh Hamad was briefed by Sheikh Sultan on the Sultan bin Khalifa International Thalassemia Award in the field of promoting scientific research in the best interests of humanitarian projects.

He also highlighted the significant role played by the award in the charitable and humanitarian field, as it translates the prestigious role model played by the UAE in this regard.

Dr. Sheikh Rashid bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority and Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Fujairah Emiri Diwan, attended the meeting.
