Social Solidarity Minister Ghada Wali met on Wednesday with Italian Ambassador to Egypt Maurizio Massari to discuss the possibility of increasing Italy's financial aid to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Egypt.
This comes as part of an Italian-Egyptian debt swap program aimed at financing 12 projects in Egypt.
In statements, Wali said the ministry chose the NGOs which will establish these projects.
