Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received visiting Mideast Quartet envoy Tony Blair on Saturday.
They will be discussing the latest developments in the region and means to resume peace negotiations between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
Blair arrived here on Friday.
The Middle East Quartet is comprised of the United Nations, European Union, United States and Russia.
