Defense and Military Production Minister Sedqi Sobhi met with Pakistani Army Chief General Raheel Sharif and his accompanying delegation currently visiting Egypt.
Sobhi pointed out to the deep historic relations binding the two brotherly peoples, expressing that the coming phase would witness bilateral cooperation to fulfill the aspirations of both nations.
Meanwhile, Military Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy also received Sharif where the national anthems of both countries were played at the Defense Ministry headquarters.
The two sides discussed issues of common interest in light of the joint military cooperation.
The discussions took up also the latest local and regional developments as well as their impacts on security and stability amid the current challenges witnessed by the region.
The get-together was attended by number of the top brass officers.
