Chief of staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces Mahmoud Hegazi held a meeting on Thursday with Sudanese counterpart Mustafa Osman Obeid.

Obeid arrived here earlier on top of a high-level military team to study the aspects and procedures for forming a joint Arab force.

During the meeting, they highlighted historic friendship linking the two Arab neighbors.
