Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab held a meeting Friday with representatives of French JC decaux Company for advertising in the presence of the ministers of tourism and youth, as well as Cairo governor.
The company's representatives proposed an integrated program for bicycles as a means of transport in some areas, said Cabinet spokesman Hossam Qawish.
Mahlab welcomed the proposal, saying it will contribute to easing congestion and preserving the environment.
He directed the ministers of youth and tourism to coordinate with the French company to prepare an advertising campaign to raise public awareness about the use of bicycles.
