Egyptian Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Molla on Wednesday met with Shell's Upstream International Director Andrew Brown.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed ways to support and promote investment opportunities in the areas of research, exploration and production of oil and gas.
The work progress in the projects currently carried out by Shell in Egypt is also discussed in the meeting.
Brown said investment opportunities in the Egyptian market are still promising, especially with the recent gas discoveries in the Mediterranean area and the Western Sahara.
