Communications and IT Minister Yasser el Qady met here Monday with head of the CETC Solar Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., which is a Chinese diversified technology company.

During the meeting, the two sides agreed to hold cooperation and carry out investment in the field of cyber security and building human capabilities and data centers, according to a statement issued by the Communications Ministry on Monday. 

The two sides also agreed to hold cooperation in developing the field of electronic circuits and systems, added the statement. 

The Chinese side affirmed that it has mechanisms for cooperation with Egypt in the joint spheres, said the statement.
