Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, met, at his Ain-el-Tineh residence on Monday, with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Bruno Foucher, with whom he discussed the latest developments in the country and the broader Arab region.

During the meeting, Foucher greeted his host upon Lebanon's 74th Independence Day, and presented him with a letter from the French Senate hereby asking the Speaker to meet an invitation to France.

Afterwards, Berri held talks over the current financial situation on the local scene with Governor of Lebanon's Central Bank, Riyad Salame
