Ferzli: All dangers wither away when understanding between three presidents persists

NNA - House Speaker Nabih Berri met Saturday afternoon with former Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli, with whom he discussed current developments.

On emerging, Ferzli stated that "all the clouds hovering in the skies of the region and the dangers threatening the country inevitably disappear, in wake of the important understanding between the President of the Republic, House Speaker and Prime Minister."

"In practice, we notice clearly when we talk about distancing the country from external problems in the region, that such distance cannot be embodied except in this clear and deep understanding to address all the problems prevailing on the local scene, and complete the process of building institutions that have been abandoned over decades," he added.

"We hope that this policy would continue and persevere, since it reflects positively on Lebanon and the Lebanese," Ferzli asserted.

The House Speaker later conferred with MP Ghazi Aridi over the general conditions prevailing on the internal and external scenes.

Former MP Omar Mseika also called on the House Speaker this afternoon, presenting him with his fourth book entitled, "So as not to waste my country," which is witness to 55 years of life in Lebanon and the Arab world.

Mseika warned of the ideas surrounding Lebanon and the Arab region and of internal divisions, adding that House Speaker Berry is "the key to national dialogue, and the symbol of moderation and the will to live together
