Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb left London on Friday for Cairo, wrapping up a two-day visit to the UK during which he discussed cooperation and interfaith dialogue.
During his stay in the UK, Tayyeb met with Prince Charles.
The meeting took up ways of using technology to promote acceptance of others and tolerance towards other religions.
He started his visit Wednesday when he met with Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at Lambeth Palace.
