Arab League (AL) Secretary General Nabil el Araby discussed on Tuesday with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon the latest developments in the Arab region, the pan-Arab league said in a statement on Tuesday.

This came during a meeting held between the two officials in New York city on the sidelines of a high-level meeting of heads of regional and other organizations.

Also, they touched on Palestinian developments and efforts exerted to settle the Yemeni, Libyan and Syrian crises, the statement added.
