President of the republic, Michel Aoun, met, at Baabda palace on Tuesday, with a delegation of the extended episcopal committee of Lebanon's catholic schools.

"The salary issue of private schools' teachers requires a radical solution that must be reached jointly by the state, the educational institutions' union, and the teachers' union," Aoun told his guests.

Aoun later met with Head of Beirut Bar Association, Andre Chidiac, and an accompanying delegation
