Agriculture Minister Essam Fayed held on Thursday a meeting with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and his accompanying delegation, now visiting Egypt.
They discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations in the agricultural field and implementing decisions taken during President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's meeting with the Hungarian prime minister in June.
The two sides probed aspects of future cooperation between the two countries and urged increasing the production of major crops.
Szijjártó said his country is ready to step up the level of cooperation with Egypt in the agricultural domain in the coming period.
