Afghanistan's chief executive Dr Abdullah Abdullah met today with GCC Secretary General Dr Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani. 
  During the meeting, the two sides reviewed ties of cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Afghanistan and ways to foster them in all areas. They discussed as well the latest regional and international developments and issues of common concern, including international efforts to combat terrorism.
