Afghan President Ashraf Ghani today received Pakistani Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, currently on visit to Afghanistan. 

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest, including the Afghan national reconciliation process. Gen. Raheel Sharif also met Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Abdulla Abdulla and stressed the need to consolidate joint cooperation in all fields.
