Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou said a cooperation protocol he signed Wednesday with the antiquities minister and the hotels chamber is meant to provide 100 million dollars per year to carry out the Grand Museum project. One dollar will be added optionally to the price of each hotel room under the protocol to be collected for the project, said the minister. It will also contribute to promoting tourism in Egypt through foreign offices and airports, he added. Antiquities Minister Mohamed Ibrahim considered the protocol as a campaign for collecting donations to implement the second and third phases of the museum project.
