The findings of two seismic and geotechnical studies show that the ground on which the Grand Mosque of Algiers (Djamaa El-Djazair) will be built is "hard with no fault line and without risk of liquefaction," said Monday here the General Manager of the National Agency for the Construction and Management of Algiers Grand Mosque (ANAGERMA), Mohamed Lakhdar Aloui. "National and international experts concluded that the ground of the site is hard and therefore can support such huge project," Aloui told a press conference.
