Antiquities Minister Mohamed Ibrahim reopened the tomb of Merneptah, the fourth ruler of the 19th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, to tourism on Thursday after its renovation. The opening comes to mark the 90th anniversary of the discovery of the tomb of Egypt\'s boy-king Tutankhamun. Merneptah ruled Egypt for almost ten years between 1213 and 1203 BC, according to contemporary historical records. He was the thirteenth son of Ramesses II.
