Minister of Oil and Minerals Khalid Bahah discussed onMonday with chargé d'affaires of the Saudi Embassy in Sana'a Dr. Haza'a al-Metarithe cooperation areas between the two countries, especially in the sector of oil andgas.In the meeting, Bahah hailed the assistance provided by the Kingdom of SaudiArabia (KSA) to Yemen in the field of oil derivatives, noting that the current phaserequires strengthening of the economic and developmental cooperation between thetwo countries.The minister affirmed the importance of activating the role of the Saudi-YemeniCoordination Council in order to achieve the common aspirations of the twocountries.For his part, the Saudi diplomat confirmed that the Kingdom would continue tosupport Yemen to overcome the exceptional economic circumstances and toimplement the National Dialogue Conference (NDC)'s outcomes and the politicalsettlement. Al-Metari also assured that the Kingdom would make efforts to develop theinvestment activities between the two countries in various fields, including the oiland gas industry and encouraging companies for joint investment between the twocountries.
