The US Treasury Department imposed sanctions against Crimean company Chernomorneftegaz and seven Crimean officials. The ministry added the company to the appropriate list on the ministry's website, Voice of Russia reported. The Ministry of Finance said that the sanctions apply only to the enterprise in Simferopol, and not to its head office in Ukraine. Sanctions were also imposed on seven Crimean officials, including the chairman of the Supreme Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov.
