The price of crude oil rose modestly to top $95 a barrel Monday on the New York Mercantile Exchange. West Texas Intermediate, light, sweet crude added 49 cents to $95.09 per barrel. Reformulated gasoline added 5.04 cents to reach $2.6038 a gallon. Home heating oil picked up 1.54 cents to close at $2.8873 a gallon. Natural gas gained 2 cents to $3.57 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price of unleaded gasoline dropped to $3.186 per gallon, down from Sunday's $3.192, the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report said
