Crude oil prices closed in on $94 per barrel Wednesday in New York after a report indicated U.S. stockpiles of crude had declined. The Energy Information Administration said crude oil supplies dropped by 6.3 million barrels in the week to 391.3 million barrels. Supplies remain above the average range for this time of year, the EIA said. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude added 99 cents to $93.90 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline gained 3.59 cents to $2.8254 per gallon. Heating oil added 2.58 cents to reach $2.8561 per gallon. Natural gas prices dropped 0.1 cents $3.997 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.617 Wednesday, down from Tuesday\'s $3.619, the AAA Fuel Gauge Report said.
