The biggest oil platform of the Persian Gulf region was installed Tuesday in the Reshadat oil field some 110 km southwest of the Lavan Island in this southern province. The 70-meter-high structure weighs 3,100 tons. It was completely construced by Iranian experts based on an order by Iran\'s Falat-E-Ghare (Offshore) Oil Company. Some 9,000 tons of marine structures have been installed on the platform which is located some 110 km southwest of Lavan Island in Persian Gulf waters.
