Weekly average prices of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) increased to 108.20 U.S. dollars per barrel last week, the Vienna-based cartel said Monday. It was the second consecutive weekly rise and also the highest weekly OPEC Basket Price in the past five weeks. The rise was considered to be promoted by a series of positive statistics of Germany\'s economy, unveiled last week, which is recognized as the leading role in the eurozone recovery, as well as the Middle East tensions, making the investors worried about the oil supply from the gulf region.
