Crude oil resumed its upward trend Tuesday, adding 43 cents to $92.63 per barrel in early trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Oil closed at $92.20 Monday. Natural gas added nearly 4 cents in early trading to $2.947 per million British thermal units. Home heating oil was trading for $2.9620 a gallon, up slightly more than 2 cents. Reformulated blendstock gasoline was $2.9447 a gallon in early trading, up about 2 cents. At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.634 Tuesday, up from $3.619 Monday.
