The construction works are due to start next year and complete by 2014, according to KPC. The mega project, which includes a 300,000 bpd refinery, ethylene cracker with the capacity of 1 million ton per year and a retail network in the province, will pave the way for OPEC-member Kuwait to achieve its China-bound crude oil export target of 500,000 bpd.(end) mk.asa KUNA 270903 Jun 11NNNN
