Price of Kuwaiti crude rose USD 1.60 per barrel on Friday reaching USD 111.93 pb compared to USD 110.33 pb on Thursday, the state-run Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Saturday. Prices of the crude oil have been bullish, buoyed by steps that have been taken by Italy and Greece to tackle their economic and political crises, amid high morale among investors. This trend coincided with calls by oil-producing Iran for slashing the OPEC output of crude.
