The price of Kuwaiti crude oil rose 36 cents to US$52.66 per barrel in Monday's trading, up from $52.30 per barrel on Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation.

According to Kuwait News Agency, the price of Brent crude shed 14 cents to US$55.48 per barrel while West Texas Intermediate increased to $49.91 pb.
