Price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up USD 1.10, settling at USD 102.01 per barrel (pb) on Monday compared to USD 100.91 pb Friday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said in a statement on Tuesday. The global oil price went up yesterday due to failure to reach an agreement on Iranian nuclear program during a meeting which gathered Iranian and international official in Geneva yesterday. A similar meeting will be held in Geneva on November 20th. The sanctions on Iran, which reduces Iranian oil imports by over a million barrels per day, played a role in the price hike.
