The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up by USD 1.13 to USD 43.74 per barrel Tuesday after it was USD 42.61 per barrel the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Wednesday.

At the global market, the price of crude oil went up yesterday after statistics in the US showed a retreat in American oil reserves last week by one million barrel contrary to what analysts predicted, according to (KUNA) news agency.

The reserves, which stood now at 519.8 million barrels, were expected to increase by 522,000 barrels during the week ending on August 12th.
