Price of Kuwaiti crude oil rose 59 cents, reaching USD 100.48 per barrel (pb) on Friday compared to USD 99.89 pb on Thursday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said on Saturday. On international crude oil markets, prices of futures rose on Friday in choppy trading after the US employment data indicated that the market is improving, which boosted the stock markets and crude oil. On London Stock Exchange (LSE), the price of Brent contract for July delivery rose 95 cents, equivalent of 0.92 percent, to settle at USD 104.56 pb. On New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), light-sweet crude futures for delivery in July rose by USD 1.27, equivalent of 1.34 percent, to trade at USD 96.03 pb.
