The price of Kuwaiti oil dropped USD 1.57 to USD 42.91 per barrel Tuesday compared to USD 44.48 per barrel Monday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Wednesday, according to the official KUNA news agency. 
On the world oil markets, prices were down as the global benchmark, the Brent crude oil, fell 15 cents to USD 49.95per barrel , affected with rise of the US dollar against other main currencies as well as the Asian economy slowness.
